Updates

Don't have much time to write, so I am going to give some quick updates:

Bad news:
- oxygen level has gone up from 40ish to 61
- might have to have an IV placed in his scalp at some point. There are only so many times that he can get stuck until they run out of options in arms/legs.
- chest xray came back a little fuzzy. His bacteria is one that takes some time to kick. He has 56 doses of the medicine - and is only on #28.

Good news:
- PDA medicine seems to be doing its magic. Nurse nor doctor were able to hear murmur. Echo is tomorrow.
- carbon dioxide levels are down to 62 from 80 earlier today. They increased how much his lungs open up for every breath.
- heart rate and blood pressure are normal.

Other news:
- blood transfusion #5 today. The nurse named off about 8 tests that they ran today and just pulled too much blood. From same donor as #4. Other 3 transfusions all came from one donor.

Going over to Jennifer/Todd's tonight for dinner. Mom is in town and Shannon and Evelyn are going over as well. Time for Kristen and I to socialize and get our mind off things. :)

Reid has had a better day than yesterday and our visit was pretty uneventful - which is a good thing!
