4:25pm: Reid had another good CO2 gas last night of 52. Subsequently, they decided to wean him again on his flow --- 6 liters! He is off all fluids (hyperal and now clears) and is up to 28cc of milk per hour.

I stayed home today to get some of the remaining yard work done and now about to go run to the grocery store. Kristen took off to the NICU around 2 this afternoon after we got a late start to the day. She has enjoyed her visit.. Reid was in the crib looking at himself in the mirror and just smiling away. When the nurse tried to put him in his chair, he wanted nothing to do with it, so she put him back in his crib and he was happy once again. He enjoys looking at his mirror and mobile, so I guess if he is happy - that is all that matters.

Other news... The nurse told us yesterday that we needed to take home most of the clothes that we had brought in for Reid. He is getting too big and she told us to start bringing in the 3-6 month clothes. Kristen sorted through all of the clothes that we have at home this morning and it is frustrating to see all of the cool things that he never got to wear. Some items are just not meant to be worn by a baby who is connected to machines and pumps by lots of little tubes...
