10:30pm: Reid is still hanging in there on 2.5 liter flow. In fact, when we called in at 9:30 tonight, he was on 50% oxygen. He has had a good evening and has done well with his bath and nightly routine. 6:15pm: Much sooner than we expected, they decided to wean Reid's flow back down to 2.5 liters. His oxygen requirements have remained steady over the past few days - actually, they have gotten a little better. Today when we visited him, his O2 was in the lower 50s. The doctor also mentioned that she was expecting to further wean his methadone tomorrow. Occupational therapy came yesterday and physical therapy today. He seems to have done well with both visits.
