I would like to take this time to reintroduce the one, the only...

SCUBA REID

Congratulations and welcome back to the bubble CPAP little man!!!

This morning and early afternoon, the doctors kept weaning Reid off the ventilator and finally got to a point where they were ready to pull him off. When we got to the NICU around 3pm, he was on 100% oxygen, level 7 CPAP and had just had all of his IVs replaced. He wasn't a happy camper, but he had just had a bunch of stuff going on. They had given him some medicine to help his throat feel a little better and to help with the raspiness of his vocals.

It is a GREAT day for the Elley family!!!

Oh, and before I forget, he was weighed again last night and was at 3 lbs 6 oz and is currently feeding at 17cc every 3 hrs with a max of 25cc.
