3:15pm: Still no word on the labs but we did find out that Reid weighed 6.73 kg (14.84 lbs) the other night and when they weighed him last night, he was 6.54 kg (14.42 lbs). I am wondering if he had gained too much weight too fast which ended up taking a toll on his breathing? When Reid grows, he needs lean growth and not just pudge. We are still on pins and needles waiting to hear something... and at the same time, we are hoping we hear nothing.



11:45pm: Doctors rounded and have decided to do an extensive set of labs to check for infections and elevated levels. No time frame known as to when we will hear results...

8:45am: I wish I had better news to report, but Reid has had a little set back and was bumped up to 6 liter flow at 80% oxygen. They have taken an xray and everything looks fine. He is acting normal, but seems to be breathing a little more shallow than normal. We are anxiously waiting for the doctors to round. Guess we won't get our hopes up that he is coming home anytime soon...
