A quick flight home tonight and came straight to the hospital. Feels good to be back as it was a long couple of days. I counted 13 hours that I was in my hotel room since Tuesday and was at the office until 2am last night. Oh how I have missed Accenture work!!!

Not much is new with Reid. His arterial line came out today, so he is officially a free man - no more IV fluids!!! He still has one IV in his right hand for the various medicines that he gets, but for the most part, his bed has been freed of a cluttered mess of tubes. Because of his freedom, they took the bed scale out and will use the normal scale going forward. He weighs around 3 lbs 9oz.

Bubble CPAP hasn't changed and he fluctuates on his oxygen needs depending on how grumpy and agitated he is. Kristen and I both had lofty goals of getting him off this apparatus this weekend, but we think he still has a while to go. Neither of us have patience, so this is killing us. :)

Anyway, time to head home. It is nearing 11pm and I have yet to eat dinner tonight (I am about to gnaw my arm off I am so hungry). Looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight and even more so to the weekend...
