5:30pm: Pretty uneventful visit at the hospital today. He has been fluctuating between 45% and 50% all day and is currently at 48%. Met with the weekend doctor today and if all holds up over the next 12 hours, they are going to pull him off the paralytic tomorrow to see how he can handle being semi-awake. If he can handle that well, they will start weaning the pressures on the vent. Feedings were increased minimally to 7.5cc per hour.

7:00am: last night was the first stable night that we have seen in quite some time. Reid's O2 stayed at 45% the entire night, even when the nurse moved and adjusted him. Keep in mind he is still heavily drugged, but this is definitely progress!
